He made the remarks in Zahedan on Sat. after signing and sealing a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Iran and Pakistan and added, “in this two-day meeting, all issues on the border trade between the two countries was reviewed, based on which, a 22-paragraph Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between officials of the two countries.”
He further noted that the Pakistani government will launch four border marketplaces within the next year in 2020 for easing trade transactions between the two countries.
The 7th Iran-Pakistan Border Trade Committee was held last week for a period of two days within the framework of transit and transport, customs and banking, railway, fisheries and agriculture in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Interior Ministry, Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) and Pakistani merchants.
It should be noted that Sistan and Baluchestan province is considered as one of the safest access ways of regional countries especially Afghanistan and Pakistan to the Middle East and European and African countries.
