At least 189 soldiers among 1,200 killed: Israeli military

TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) – The Zionist Israeli military has admitted to the death of at least 189 soldiers in the Hamas attack on the occupied territories known as the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, which began on Saturday.

Zionists death toll tops 1,200:

The regime military has said in a statement that at least 189 soldiers were among the 1,200 killed in Hamas surprise attack.

This is while the Zionist Israeli regime's health ministry said on Wednesday evening that the Zionists' death toll was 1,300, putting the number of injured at 3,192.

UK foreign secretary runs for cover as sirens go off in Israel:

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen ran for shelter in southern Israel as sirens went off Wednesday.

The two politicians — alongside many other people — ran to take shelter, as seen in a video reposted by Israel’s foreign ministry on X, formerly Twitter. According to former diplomat David Saranga, who originally posted the video, Cleverly and Cohen were visiting the town of Ofakim in Israel when “a siren goes off warning of incoming Hamas rocket fire.”

Ofakim, located about 25 kilometers away from Gaza, was one of the sites where hostages were taken during the deadly Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday, the Times of Israel reported.

Israel has 'right to defend itself' but expected to be 'proportionate': NATO chief

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday said Israel has the "right to defend itself" but added that any response was expected to be "proportionate," Turkish Anadolu Agency reported.

On the most recent developments in ongoing clashes between Palestinian group Hamas and Israel, Stoltenberg said it was "important as this conflict continues to do whatever is possible to prevent the loss of innocent civilian lives."

In a briefing after the first day of a defense ministers meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels, he said members of the alliance had the capability to address the situation in the Middle East, adding that several of them had "provided support intelligence, all the types of support, to Israel."

"NATO allies, we have the capability, the strength to address different challenges at the same time. We don't have the luxury of choosing only one threat and one challenge," he said, asked whether the current clashes, which erupted early on Saturday, would shift international focus from Ukraine.

US reportedly evacuating Lebanon embassy, calls on citizens to leave: 

The US announced the evacuation of its embassy in Lebanon and called on American citizens to leave the country amidst fears over the Palestinian resistance conflict with Zionist regime could spiral. 

The Embassy has said in a post on its X account that "The US Embassy in Beirut has not evacuated and is open and operating normally. Reports saying otherwise are false. For more information and travel advisories, visit our embassy website."

Israeli military gives all-clear after drone scare in north

Several aircraft enter Zionist regime's airspace:

Sirens sound across the north of the occupied territories under the control of the Zionist Israeli regime as several aircraft appear to infiltrate the regime's airspace, Zionist Israeli regime media reported. The regime media said that the possible infiltration has caused concern in  the occupied territories. 

The Israeli regime military said that the drone infiltration alerts that sounded in northern Israel earlier are a false alarm, Times of Israel reported later after the reported infiltration fear.

“As of now, fear of an infiltration is ruled out,” the regime's military said.

Netanyahu calls Biden to thank him for strong speech:

The Zionist regime\s Prime Minister’s Office said on Wednesday evening in a statement that the Prime Minister has spoken with US President Joe Biden by phone to thank him after an address unequivocally backing Israel against Hamas a day earlier.

Netanyahu “thanked the president for his words of strong support after their last conversation yesterday and for his unwavering backing for Israel,” the Prime Minister’s Office's statement said.

Resistance fires more missiles at Zionist settlements:

Sirens sound in a wide swath of southern occupied territories, including Ashdod, Beersheba and areas closer to the Gaza frontier, the Israeli regime media said on Wednesday evening.

5,000 Germans asked to leave ‘Israel’:

Germany foreign office has said in a statement that it has asked 5,000 Germans to leave the occupied territories.

Zionist regime targets ambulance in Gaza, kills three paramedics:

Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that Israeli forces targeted an ambulance in northern Gaza, leading to the death of 3 paramedics.

Hezbollah strikes Israeli border post

Hezbollah announced on Wednesday its fighters have fired missiles at an Israeli border post in retaliation to the Israeli aggression which killed three Islamic Resistance fighters on Monday.

In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office affirmed that the Islamic Resistance is firm in retaliating Israeli aggression especially when martyrs fall in such attacks.

Al-Manar TV website broadcast video showing Hezbollah missile attack on Israeli soldiers gathering near border site of Al-Jardah:

“In a decisive retaliation to Zionist aggression on Monday, October 9, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of three courageous fighters, the Mujahideen: Hussam Ibrahim, Ali Ftouni, and Ali Hodroj, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Zionist Jerdah site, facing Lebanese area of Dhaira, with guided missiles,” the statement, carried by Al-Manar read.

“The operation resulted in several confirmed casualties among Israeli occupation soldiers,” the statement added.

“The Islamic Resistance reiterates its determination to provide a firm and unyielding response to Israeli assaults that threaten the security of our homeland and the well-being of our citizens, particularly when such actions result in the tragic loss of our martyrs.”

Askaleon targeted with rockets again on Wednesday:

Hebrew-language media in occupied Palestinian territories released video footage sent by residents of occupied Ashkelon as saying that a rocket hit the port city without warning and was not detected by Iron Dome air defense.

Two Zionists were injured as a result of a rocket attack in Ashkelon, media have reported.

At least two people are wounded in a rocket strike in Ashkelon, Magen David Adom said, according to Times of Israel.

"Both people, including a man in his 40s with shrapnel wounds, are lightly hurt," the regime's media added.
