Iran prefers diplomacy while more fluent in other languages

TEHRAN, Jun. 09 (MNA) – Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who heads Iranian negotiating team, says that Iran prefers diplomacy while adding that other means have proven to be more effective.

In a message posted in English on his X account, Ghalibaf wrote: “We prefer the language of diplomacy, but we speak other languages far more fluently.”

He stressed that Iran would respond accordingly if the other side violated its obligations, stating: “If you break your commitments, we will resort to the language that we know best.”

The Iranian parliament speaker concluded his message by saying: “You will ride the horse that you have saddled yourself.”
