Deputy FM Amir-Abdollahian arrives in Moscow

TEHRAN, May 04 (MNA) – Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has arrived in the Russian capital to discuss Syria’s latest developments.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian FM for Arab and African Affairs arrived in Russia on Wednesday morning as reported by IRIB.

Iran’s deputy FM is slated to meet the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa in order to exchange views on regional developments including the movements in Syria and Yemen.

Also on Tuesday, UN’s special peace envoy for Syrian conflict Staffan de Mistura met with Russian officials in Moscow dealing with the Syrian crisis.

Previously, Russian and American foreign ministers had discussed the issue in a phone conversation.
