Iran ready to broaden economic ties with world

TEHRAN, May 02 (MNA) – New ambassadors of France, Indonesia, Montenegro, Island, Togo and Slovakia in separate meetings on Sunday submitted a copy of their credentials to Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Talking during a meeting on Sunday with the new ambassadors, Zarif and the envoys touched upon their willingness to broaden mutual cooperation in economic and trade fields.

In his meeting with Montenegro's envoy Branko Milić, Mohammad Javad Zarif said Iran is ready to expand trade and economic ties with the state and private sectors.

In the meetings with French Ambassador Francois Senemaud, Zarif welcomed any consultations with France in various fields of foreign policy, including issues in the region.

Talking with Ambassador Lubomir Gulan, Iran’s Zarif examined expansion of cultural and economic transactions between Iran and Slovakia, including in the field of oil and energy.

Visiting Indonesian Ambassador to Tehran Octavino Alimuddin, Zarif hoped for expansion of relations and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Indonesia in various domains.

Meeting with Togo accredited ambassador, Zarif also emphasized the need for the expansion of ties between the two countries.

“The relations between Iran and Iceland has always been good and now the new grounds are provided in the light of JCPOA to expand relations in economic, commercial, banking and private sectors,” Zarif said talking with Iceland envoy.
