Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem appeared via Al-Manar to speak on defense strategy and latest developments on Friday night.
Sheikh Qassem said at the start of his speech that the resistance is a reaction to Israeli occupation.
"Israeli is expansionist, seeks to seize Lebanese as well as Palestinian Land," he said, adding that "Resistance stopped aggression by Israel and the US at Lebanon's southern border."
"Israel did not achieve its goals in Lebanon thanks to Hezbollah resistance, according to Sheikh Qassem.
"Israel has carried out over 2,700 acts of aggression since Lebanon ceasefire deal," noted the Hezbollah chief, while saying that the resistance has abided fully by the deal.
"Israel wants to occupy a large part of Lebanon and build settlements there," the Hezbollah leader further warned.
"Lebanon resistance has options and is not afraid of anything," according to him.
"Israel seeks resistance disarmament to weaken and occupy Lebanon," Qassem warned. "Disarming Hezbollah is seditious and serves the Israeli regime's interests."
"We will not allow anyone to disarm Hezbollah," Qassem underscored. "We will confront those who attack the resistance and those who work to disarm it just as we confronted ‘Israel’."
"This weapon is the pillar of the resistance, it liberated the country and defended its sovereignty," he highlighted.
Sheikh Qassem continued to say that "Israel must withdraw from all Lebanese territory and stop its aggression."
"Israeli withdrawal and halting the aggression are important steps toward engaging in a discussion on the defense strategy," the Hezbollah leader also said.
"Hezbollah will not surrender and it is not afraid of threats from the US and Israeli regime," he said, adding that "Things can’t go on in Lebanon with the continuation of the US guardianship."
"Stand firm in face of the US and we are with you," he asserted.
Qassem hoped that the US-Iran talks will be fruitful.
On Yemen, he said that "We salute Yemen which has been standing firm in face of the US and ‘Israel’ on behalf of the entire world, and Ansarullah Leader Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi."
