Iranian sports official appointed as honorary vice pres. of IBSF

TEHRAN, Oct. 03 (MNA) – A senior Iranian sports official has been appointed as the honorary vice president of International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF).

In a session chaired by Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports President Mubarak Al-Khayarin in Qatar’s Doha on Wednesday, President of the Bowling and Billiard Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hashem Eskandari, was elected as the vice president of International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF).

The International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) is the organisation that governs non-professional snooker and English billiards around the world. As of 7 May 2013, the organisation is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Eskanari is also the vice president of Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports.
