Enemies unlikely to succeed ‘in subduing Islamic lands’

TEHRAN, May. 01 (MNA) – Head of Strategic Research Center has said Iran’s well-principled policy is to support liberationist movements across Islamic world.

Mr. Ali Akbar Velayati who was meeting the leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shalah on Saturday in Tehran, welcomed the Palestinian delegation to Tehran and ensured him of Islamic Republic of Iran’s unswerving support for Palestinian movements and believed that the enemies would not enjoy the full subduing of the world of Islam; “the occupation of Muslims’ second most sacred city by the Zionist regime precipitated by the fall of the Ottoman empire and fragmentation of the empire; however, now it would be impossible to subdue all the vast territories of the former Ottoman rule with a sort of Islamic awakening in the region,” he told the meeting.

Senior adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Republic said that Iran’s grand scheme of policy centered on supporting jihadi groups in Palestine and elsewhere in Muslim world, to which the Leader of the Islamic Revolution had also emphasized; “we are regularly watching the developments in the resistance front conditions; the surveillance has detected some sabotage by the insiders and other parties adverse to jihadi achievements in the Palestinian territories,” Velayati said.

Mr. Abdullah for his part hailed Iran’s spiritual support for resistance movement and other sort of advice; we believe that the Islamic Republic of Iran has a high place in reviving Iran after the general decline of the civilization with the introduction of colonialism in recent centuries; the Arab world however had grown hardened and callous over the time about Palestinians’ suffering under occupation, and turned to be enemies surprisingly to Iran which is practically a bulwark of stability in the region,” he lamented.

“We will work to bring to attentions that the Zionist regime should be attacked and considered the enemy of the Islamic world and the path should not be deflected to false places,” Abdullah emphasized.
