Amano’s report proves Iran’s commitment to regulations, said Reza Najafi, Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Wednesday, commenting on the report issued by Yukiya Amano, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also described the 15 page report full of scraps from the past with approximately 50 times reference to the report of November of 2011.
A small part is about Iran’s cooperation in line with the road map, and put it simply, assessment is a tiny section of the report, highlighted Najafi.
He referred to Amano’s last week comment that the report would not be totally white or black and Najafi agreed with Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, who described the report more white than black.
The Iranian official stressed that despite the claims referring to an unannounced nuclear fuel cycle in addition to Natanz and Fordow sites, the report officially annuls those claims assuring there is no sign of an undeclared fuel cycle in Iran.
Now it is up to 5+1 to observe their obligations, and closure of the PMD file is the only way to keep going with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), affirmed Iran’s ambassador to the IAEA.
