Statoil Company, Subject: Phase 6,7,8 Jacket installation

Installation work on the SPD8 jacket for the South Pars 6,7,8 Project started on February 14. The Jacket was successfully lifted into position and location.

Unfortunately, due to a sudden change in the weather, further installation work had to stop and the installation vessel, went into a standby mode.

The weather has continued to restrict further installation work, and the jacket has partially settled out of level.

The contractor is waiting for better weather when the jacket will then be re-leveled and the installation work completed.

At this stage, no serious damage has been reported and no serious delays will result for jacket installation completion and subsequent Well Drilling activities.

ISOICO is the EPC Contractor, responsible for this installation, while the subcontractor is SHL.

Previous press report in Mehr News and other websites have given incorrect reports.
