Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with Sheik Ahmad Bahr, the deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council.
He said that Iran and Palestine are bound by religious affinities and that Tehran will always remain a full supporter of Palestinians.
The Iranian parliament speaker said “resistance” against occupation is the only way to achieve victory.
He praised the Gaza people’s strong resistance against the Israeli army in 22-day war, saying the war’s aftermath has aggravated the situation for Tel Aviv both at home and abroad.
Ahmad Bahr, for his part, thanked Iran for its support to Palestinians, saying Palestine will never forget Iran’s help.
He described Iran as the most resolute supporter of the Palestine cause.
Palestinians believe resistance is the only way to achieve their goal, he said, adding they will never surrender to Israeli pressure.
He also said Palestinian resistance groups will never recognize Israel.
