Directed by Farajollah Salahshur, the 45-episode series focuses on the life of the Prophet Joseph (AS) from his childhood to adulthood.
The film which is currently broadcast by IRIB channel 1 and Al-Kawsar satellite network will be aired in Turkey in near future.
7 Imam Khomeini books hit Turkey’s bookstores
TEHRAN -- Seven books written by Imam Khomeini were published in Istanbul recently.
The books were released by the Iran cultural attaché office in Turkey and the Institute for the Compilation and Publication of Imam Khomeini’s Works.
“Forty Hadiths”, “Interpretation of Surah Al-Hamd”, “The Greatest Jihad: Combat with the Self”, and “Mesbah al-Hedaya” are among the published books.
Book on Pahlavi regime published in China
TEHRAN -- “The Memoirs of Retired General Hossein Fardoust”, a book on the rise and fall of the Pahlavi regime, has recently been published in China.
The book has been translated into Chinese by Liu Ji.
Liu, a Persian language graduate, chose this book for translation during his one-year sojourn in Iran.
Hossein Fardoust was chosen to be Mohammad Reza Pahlavi’s best friend and they grew up, studied and lived together.
Imam Khomeini’s last will and testament available in Greek
TEHRAN -- “Imam Khomeini’s Last Will and Testament” was translated into Greek by Lina Mistakido.
Published by Eptafolos Publications in Athens, the book contains a preface written by Iran’s cultural attaché in Athens, Tuba Kermani.
Chinese readers enjoy Qeisar Aminpur’s poetry
TEHRAN -- The Chinese version of a selection of poems composed by Iranian poet Qeisar Aminpur was translated by Mu-hun Yang and published in China.
He has recently translated several books on Persian contemporary literature into Chinese including Simin Daneshvar’s “A City like Paradise” and Mahmud Dowlatabadi’s “Missing Soluch”.
