"The IRGC Navy has built drones that can take off on the water and land the water," the IRGC Navy commander said in an interview with Iranian media recently.
"This is a capability that will be announced in the future," Gen. Tangsiri added.
"The IRGC Navy has also built hybrid drones that fly with one engine, and the second engine is a propelling engine and that the drone can perform reconnaissance missions for up to 15 hours," the commander said.
Gen. Tangsiri had recently said in a ceremony that even though the country is under oppressive sanction, the domestic construction of UAVs made great progress and that the Iranian military experts were working on building water-landing drones as well as drones that can take off from the water.
