He then noted the MoU signed on Chabahar Port and urged the acceleration of procedure to compensate for the slow pace of the project, saying, “implementation of North-South corridor, regarding the key role of Chabahar Port in the project, would result in flourishing of transit and considerable economic interests for all states involved in the corridor.”

“The large Muslim population of India as well as cultural communalities has set the ground for exchange of viewpoints and orientating cultural capacities,” Shamkhani said.
“The cultural cooperation of Iran and India could help put an end to influence and activity of Takfiri terrorists in Indian Muslim community,” underlined he condemning the support of some regional countries for terrorim.
Modi, for his part, deemed Shamkhani’s visit as vital and “indicating the determination of Iran and India to accelerate the implementation of agreements.”
“Tehran and New Delhi’s approach is protecting and supporting humanity,” said Indian prim minister, adding that today the most concerning threat against humanity is terrorism and extremism.
He continued, “Islam is the religion of mercy and kindness and throughout the history nothing had damaged the Islam to the extent Takfiri terrorism did.”
