Iran's Javanmardi clinches gold in women’s 10 air pistol

TEHRAN, Aug. 31 (MNA) – Sareh Javanmardi from Iran has bagged a gold in women’s 10 air pistol SH1 at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Her gold medal was the first gold and fourth medal for Iran at the marquee sports event at the the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Javanmardi kissed the Holy Qur’an and her country’s flag after clinching the gold medal.

Iran has sent 65 athletes in 10 sports to the games.
