Hassanzadeh’s feature debut ‘Another Time’ which has recently won the Special Jury Award at Athens International Film and Video Festival (AIFVF) in the US, tells the story of Ghadir, who is a chemical plant worker going through a hard time. It depicts with great subtly the conflicts of love, duty and tradition that the children create in the family.
‘Another Time’ has also won Best Film award at Kolkata film festival and Best Actor award at Mannheim film festival.
Iran ArtHouse Film, a distribution company founded by Marjan Alizadeh, is the international distributor of ‘Another Time.’
The Columbus, Indiana YES Film Festival which celebrates the creativity anthd diversity of independent films, selects six narrative features each year for the main competition section. This year, ‘Another Time’ as Iranian cinema’s sole representative will compete with titles from US, Jordan, and the Netherlands for the top prize.
The seventh edition of the American festival will be held on 27-29 October 2017 in Columbus, United States.
