Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov and his accompanying delegation met and talked with Managing Director of Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) Mansour Moazemi in Tehran.

During the meeting, Iran’s Moazemi said, in MoU of the 13th session of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission, various venues for collaboration between IDRO and its subsidiaries with Russian firms have been defined in line with expansion of industrial relations.

The official welcomed partnership with credible foreign countries and, while pointing to Iran’s enormous capacities, asserted “as emphasized repeatedly, countries eager to enter the Iranian market are required to conduct joint investment.”

He voiced optimism that negotiation and agreements will lead to establishment of joint complexes for construction of industrial equipment in Iran.

The main axis of talks between Shuvalov and Moazemi revolved around reinvigoration of industrial ties between Tehran and Moscow.

In the meantime, IDRO Head Mansour Moazemi also held a joint meeting with Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak. The two sides at the meeting exchanged views of methods of bolstering relations in oil, gas, aerospace, rail and automotive industries.
