Iranian amb., Putin’s adviser discuss coop. in holding joint expos

TEHRAN, Feb. 17 (MNA) – Iranian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Mehdi Sanaei met and exchanged views with Anton Kobyakov, an adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday.

The two sides held talks on a range of issues, including ways to boost Tehran-Moscow cooperation in holding joint gatherings, including exhibitions.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and they discussed ways to promote collaboration between the Iranian and Russian governments to hold joint international conferences and exhibitions and the presence of Roscongress Foundation in Iran's economic activities.

Roscongress Foundation, led by Anton Kobyakov, is the largest organizer of international conferences in Russia, including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Valadivastok International Conference, Sochi International Investment Forum, etc.

On December 13, 2016, Tehran hosted the Russia-Iran Business Forum at Olympic Hotel, organized by the Roscongress Foundation and with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce of Iran, and the Joint Russian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce.
