Due to the fact that some Guardian Council members were not present at the session when some articles of the bill were reviewed, the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee made the necessary amendments to some of the articles of the bill, said Golbaz, who is also a member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.
He went on to say that in light of current circumstances, it would be better if the bill on boosting the president's powers were not presented, because in practice the bill would not add much to presidential powers.
