Alirezaei improves his own record

ZAGREB, Croatia, June 28 (MNA)--Iran’s swimmer Mohammad Alirezaei improved his own record in 100 meter breaststroke event by 0.32 seconds, clocking 1.03.92 minutes here on Saturday.

Alirezaei who has already failed to advance to the Olympics in the Zagreb’s Golden Bear Tournament, improved his personal best for the third time during the past week.

Alirezaei needs a time of 1.03. 35 minutes to qualify for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Mohammad Bidarian, another Iranian swimmer, is making effort to book an Olympic berth as well.
