In a letter to Antonio Guetress, the UN Secretary General, asked for a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the US-Israeli aggression on Iran.
It was also announced earlier today the council will hold an emergency meeting at the requests of France, Russia, China and Iran.
Prior to this, the UN chief condemned the escalation of tensions.
