Speaking in a gathering of clergymen, hosted by Iran’s Nacy Force, he stated, “Relying on the domestic capabilities, trans-regional operational experiences, and continuous presence in the international waters, Iran has become one of the most influential players in maritime security in the region and also beyond it.”
Turning to 103rd and 104th Navy Fleets, the commander stated that Iranian Navy Force’s 103rd and 104th flotillas have set sail and are presently en route to South Africa to carry out their foreign missions.
Stating that one of the naval fleets of the navy force is responsible for escorting commercial ships, Irani added that the 103rd Naval Fleet will also participate in the BRICS joint exercise as part of implementing the sublime recommendations of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in line with strengthening the defense and naval diplomacy.
The enemy has left no stone unturned to undermine the image of the country in various social and cultural areas but the noble nation of Islamic Iran will thwart their conspiracies waged against the country like in the past and their (the enemies) dreams will not come true, Rear Admiral Irani underlined.
The navy commander pointed to the fruitful experiences of the Navy Force in foreign missions, stating that many military commanders from other countries acknowledge the effective and influential position of the Islamic Republic of Iran's leadership on the international stage, the issue which proves the depth of influence and impact of Iran in the regional and international equations.
