Iran police protests infiltrated drones from neighbors

TEHRAN, Oct. 05 (MNA) – Iranian border police commander General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi says that during the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime, drones entered Iran from some neighboring countries, which were documented to lodge a complaint.

General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, Iranian border police commander, made the comments in a ceremony held to mark the Law Enforcement (Police) Week on Sunday.

"During the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime, we had the entry of drones and quadcopters from some countries, and we documented this and reported the cases," he said in his address to the event.

"During the 12-day war, our border guards observed that three minibuses were stationed in a neighboring country's territory and were launching drones and small aircraft. Following our notification to the border guards of that country, their troops took action and killed three people in the encounter with that team and arrested the rest," the Iranian police commander said.

General Goudarzi also said, "We are grateful to the Iraqi people; the Kurdistan Region also has a memorandum of understanding with the General Staff and has no problem with us."

"In the coming weeks, a major military exercise named after Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), will be held in the Persian Gulf with the participation of the armed forces and local people. This exercise is an opportunity to practice skills and strengthen the operational capabilities of the border guards," he declared.
