Hezbollah lauds Pope Francis for his call for dialogue

In a statement on Monday, Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah offered condolences over demise of Pope Francis.

Hezbollah said in its statement that Pope Francis had embodied the spirit of interfaith dialogue.

Pope Francis died on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican's Casa Santa Marta, a Vatican statement said.
