Iran beats Philippines at IWBF Men’s U23 Asia Oceania C’ship

TEHRAN, Nov. 18 (MNA) – The Iranian men's U23 wheelchair basketball team won against the Philippines with a score of 80-28 in the opening match of the 2024 IWBF Men's U23 Asia Oceania Championship taking place in Thailand.

Iran will compete with Australia in the second match on Monday.

The top three teams will qualify for the 2025 IWBF Men’s U23 World Championship.

The 2024 IWBF Men’s U23 Asia Oceania Championship is being held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 17 to 22.
