Iran had lost to France 63-62 and Netherlands 61-53 and defeated Canada 75-74 in their previous matches in Pool A.
Pool B is comprised of Colombia, Germany, Morocco, and Italy.
The top-four teams in the eight-country tournament earn tickets to the 2024 Paralympic Games set further north in Paris from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8.
