Iran’s Rahbari defeated his opponent from Italy Riccardo Nuccio 15-13 and advanced to the next stage in the Senior Grand Prix event.
Previously in the preliminary stage, Rahbari gained five victories and just one loss and cruised into the next round of the sporting event.
Rahbari will compete with his American rival Filip Dolegiewicz on Sunday.
The 2024 Senior Tunis Grand Prix is underway in the Tunisian capital from January 12-14, 2024.
