Amir-Abdollahian and Lavrov held the meeting after the quadrilateral meeting between the foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, Syria, and Turkey in the Russian capital.
The Iranian foreign minister also held a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu and Syrian foreign minister Faisal Mekdad on Wednesday.
