Iran sabre fencing runner-up in world champs

Ali Pakdaman, Mohammad Rahbari, Mohammad Fotouhi, and Farzad Baher Arasbaran represented Iran at the event.

The Iranian contenders beat Canada, Hungary, and Germany to advance to the final match.

Iran’s fencers were defeated by South Korean sportsmen and received the silver medal in the team competitions.
