Mahmoud Jafari appointed as new deputy of Iran's atomic agency

TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (MNA) – In a decree on Tuesday, the Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi appointed Mahmoud Jafari as the new deputy of the organization.

Jafari has been appointed as the new deputy of the AEOI replacing the Managing Director of Nuclear Power Production and Development Company of Iran Mohammad Ahmadian, who passed away on 18 October 2019.

Jafari was previously the director of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
