Iran wins Japan 3-0: 2019 VNL Week 2

TEHRAN, Jun. 09 (MNA) – The Iranian national volleyball team defeated Japan 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-19) on Sunday to gain a total of 16 points and stand top in the table of Volleyball Nations League.

In the second week of the event, held in Tokyo, Iran gained two victories against Argentina and Japan while conceding a defeat to Brazil.

Iran now stands top in the VNL table with 16 points while France, Brazil and Italy rank next.

Iran, Russia, Poland and Canada will travel to Urmia, northwest Iran, to hold the Week 3 of the event in Pool 11.
