Jaberi Ansari to deliver Rouhani's message to Lebanese president

TEHRAN, Jul. 15 (MNA) – A senior assistant to the Iranian foreign minister will travel to Lebanese capital city of Beirut on Monday to deliver the message of President Rouhani to Lebanese President Aoun.

Hossein Jaberi Ansari, the senior assistant to the Iranian foreign minister, who is now in Damascus meeting with Syrian officials, is slated to pay a visit to Lebanon on Monday.

In Beirut, he is expected to meet with senior Lebanese officials and deliver the special message of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Lebanese President Michel Aoun.

An Iranian diplomat residing in Beirut told Iranian state news agency IRNA that the visit of Jaberi Ansari is in line with the recent tour of Iranian officials and diplomats to different countries with the aim to expound on Iran’s policies and stances after the unilateral withdrawal of US from the nuclear agreement of July 14, 2015.
