'Redhead' wins Best Director at Russia's Eurasia filmfest.

TEHRAN, Apr. 30 (MNA) – Iranian drama ‘Redhead’ directed by Karim Lakzadeh has won the Best Director award at the 4th Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival in Russia.

In its second international screening, ‘Redhead’ managed to win the Best Director award at the 4th Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival in Moscow, Russia.

Currently on screen in Iran, ‘Redhead’ is the story of Farhad, with a family tragedy lurking around him and gaining atmospheric shape on the drive to their parents’ house as they learn their uncle has put a claim on the house despite their father’s will that has bequeathed it to his own children. An argument leads to more tragic incidents and soon cursed visions start to appear in Farhad’s life.

Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival is an independent festival for independent filmmakers. Currently it is an online festival with the annual gala screenings of the winning films.
