"Despite the expulsion of the ambassador in 2008, the government of the USA does not stop from its emulation conspiring against our Democratic and Cultural Revolution", wrote Evo in its twitter account @evoespueblo after the revelations of the meetings by officials of the North American embassy with opponents to the Bolivian government.
On eve, the Minister of Government Carlos Romero said that the Chargé D'affaires of the United States in Bolivia Peter Brennan admitted its meetings with the opposition and tried to justify them.
Romero warned that the meetings of the American diplomats with the opposition rarefy the bilateral relations and constitute an interfering in the internal affairs.
This way, Romero let Brennan know in a meeting that maintained both, where they tackled diverse topics, among them the links of the North American officials with sectors of the right and the struggle against the drug trafficking.
A few months ago it was known here that Brennan maintained meetings in Santa Cruz with the journalist Carlos Valverde, two months before this one was throwing a series of false accusations against the head of state, just before the referendum on the presidential re-postulation.
