Mr. Ali Akbar Velayati wrote in his Instagram post that unity along with resistance would bring promising future for Islamic Ummah. The message congratulated Leader of the Islamic Revolution, government officials, Iranians, and the multitude of believers around the world on Eid al-Fitr, highlighting the fact that the festival had coincided with a general disarray in the Islamic lands where the enemies had fueled sectarian violence which hit fasting people in Iraq and Syria through their proxy mercenaries such as ISIL, thus "reducing to suffering the sweetness of the holy month of Ramadan."
"Definitely, the blood of the oppressed and the innocent will claim the perpetrators' lives in a due course of action and the enemies plots will not be realized," read Velayati's post.
