President Rouhani issued a congratulatory message to the Iranian nation on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr and wrote: “I hope in this spring of spirituality we resort to the teachings of Islam, we witness growing unity and integrity among all Muslims based on moral values, moderation and rationality”.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Wishing acceptance of all fellow countrymen’s worship and devotion, I congratulate the advent of Shawwal month and Eid Al-Fitr, the day of efflorescence of natures and the revelation of divine mercy to all Muslims, especially the pious people of Iran.
This blessed Eid, the Eid of mercy and blessings is the time of blooming buds of hope, sincerity and faith.
In this month of God, pious people prayed and fasted, and made a great attendance in Quds Day demonstration and defended the rights of the oppressed and demonstrated their responsible understanding of the divisions promoted in the region.
I hope in this spring of spirituality we resort to the teachings of Islam, we witness growing unity and integrity among all Muslims based on moral values, moderation and rationality.
I pray to Almighty Allah for salvation and glory of the great Iranian nation, as well as continuation of its victories in domestic and international stages and I am sure that national unity and integrity necessary to take big steps for people’s prosperity.
