France’s IFP to expand coop. with Iranian university

TEHRAN, Jun. 22 (MNA) – French Institute of Petroleum (IFP) and the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University discussed ways for expanding cooperation.

Following the negotiations held between representatives from French Institute of Petroleum (IFP) and officials at the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University, the two sides reached an agreement to review an MoU for expanding cooperation.

Under the MoU, main outlines for cooperation in all educational and research areas have been determined and in the next steps, a separate contract on each case for cooperation will be signed by mutual consent.

The French Institute of Petroleum (IFP Energies Nouvelle) is a French public-sector research organization founded in 1944. Its stated mission is to develop, through industrial innovation and training, clean and economically viable technologies in the fields of energy, transport and the environment. The IFP has an international school at Master's and PhD levels that cooperates with various universities across the world.
