Iran Lab to display 10K Iranian-made lab equipment

TEHRAN, Apr. 20 (MNA) – Presidential deputy for science and technology has said Iran Lab will display laboratory equipment made inside the country.

Sorena Sattari who was speaking in his first press conference after the New Year holidays, told reporters that the exhibition sought to promote tech companies inside the country and the 10,000 lab equipment displayed in the exhibition would be provided totally by indigenous manufacturers.

“We hope to bring a high volume of exchange of laboratory equipment among companies and customers to contribute to financial cycle of the whole industry; delegations from outside the country will visit the exhibitions. Apart from domestic companies, we will have Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan as definite contributors to the exhibition,” Sattari told the press.

Sattari also pointed to surge in the hi-tech companies’ odds in international arena thanks to impact of the JCPOA and removal of sanctions which had been dubbed as ‘ineffective.’ The 4th laboratory equipment & chemicals exhibition (Iran Lab 2016) will be held in Tehran International Permanent Fairground April 24-27, 2016.

The exhibition seeks to provide an opportunity for domestic manufacturers and producers to promote their products, and encourage universities, companies, research centers and institutes that are seeking to by high quality laboratory equipment and chemicals. In 2015 edition of the event, more than 300 companies attended. They exhibited more than 8000 products. Iran Lab is a great chance for all companies, universities and research centers to negotiate with the manufacturers directly to reach a mutual business agreement.

The exhibition is also a unique opportunity for international distributors, traders, tenders and everybody who is interested in and involved with this business to interact with Iranian companies and establish new connections.
