Germany to share exports experiences with Iran

TEHRAN, Mar. 06 (MNA) – ICCIMA vice president has announced the signing of two cooperation agreements with Germany on the transfer of valuable experience of successful industries to Iran.

Vice President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Adnan Mousapour has deemed the signing of the new deals as one of the most important outcomes of the German delegation’s visit to Iran saying “Germany is known as the world champion in exports ranking first in trade surplus as its economy is mainly based on exports.”

Mousapour went on to add that “the European company possesses valuable experiences; therefore, we have sealed a contract with a German export academy to launch Iran’s export academy for the German side to transfer knowledge and experience to Iranian managers and entrepreneurs.”

Mohammad Mahdi Rabbani, a member of ICCIMA, pointed to the inked agreements on knowledge transfer asserting “joint cooperation between Iran and Germany is deep-rooted while the amount of collaboration had decreased during sanction years; currently, in the post-sanction atmosphere, cooperation has been resumed while bilateral cooperation should not be limited to imports by empowering Iranian industries turning them into successful manufacturers and exporters with global competitive advantages.”

“Accordingly, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the two countries in order to help Iranian companies become prominent in the world by carrying out benchmarking projects, technology management, innovation as well as transfer of technology,” he continued.

The signing ceremony of the two agreements was attended by more than 200 senior managers of Iranian and German companies as well as political representatives of the two sides.
