Second Brig. Gen. Mehdi Hadian, who was visiting the Flight Engineering College of the university on Saturday training sessions, told students that today’s sense of glory and honor was indebted to the perseverance and sacrifice of pioneers of the Air Force in the past; “despite all sabotage waged by the enemies and sanctions hitting the Air Force, now we are self-sufficient in all fields and the overhaul of planes according to necessary standards is quite an achievement of the forces,” said the commander, “the Air Force uniform provides an honor for anyone wearing it; flight with this uniform has always been a source of plight for the enemies,” he added.
“Fostering a sense of spiritual strength is crucial in the Air Force to rule out any threat and saber-rattling by the enemies against us; this would only be achieved through a common sense of unity and solidarity among the forces,” Hadian told the students; “a sense of solidarity has infused effort, hard-working, and independence in the forces, and our students should use the pioneers and veterans as example before them for attainment of success,” he asserted.
