Spanish MiCe filmfest to host two Iranian short films

TEHRAN, Jan. 28 (MNA) –- The Third MiCe Film Festival will host two Iranian short films, One-Nil and It Hit Upon the Roof, in Spain.

Third MiCe Film Festival will take place in Valencia (Spain) from March, 27th to 29th, 2015 displaying the selected short films.

MiCe Film Festival which is oriented to children and youth, will host two Iranian short films, One-nil and It hit upon the roof, competing with films represented by Indonesia, Spain, Argentina, France, Russia, Canada, Finland, Thailand, Egypt, Italy and Germany.

Directed by Saman Hosseinpour, One-Nil which will also attend the 17th annual BAMkids Film Festival in US, narrates the story of a boy who gets so excited watching soccer that he forgets he is in the middle of a haircut.

 

It Hit Upon the Roof, directed by Teymour Ghaderi, is about a young boy at home, alone with his sick mother. It is raining outside and the roof is dripping. He is playing with his toys, and also collecting the pouring water but one spot is very challenging where his mother is sleeping. He wants to keep his mother trying not to wake her up.

The 3-minitue short movie has won two prizes of Islamic world Malaysia Winner bronze statue- 2013 and Imaje year film festival- 2013, Iran.
