Iranian Director Shooting ‘The Lost One” in Sweden

TEHRAN April 13 (MNA) -- The Iranian actor and director Sussan Taslimi who has been living in Sweden for years is filming her new movie entitled “The Lost One” in the country, an informed source said on Tuesday.

“The film is on the theme of children and young adults,” the source added.

 

Written by Taslimi, the film is her second feature-length movie. She has previously directed “The House on Fire.”

 

Sweden’s TV broadcasts a series starring Taslimi alongside a number of Swedish actors.

 

Before Taslimi left Iran to Sweden, she had scored notable success in the films of “Bashu, the Little Stranger” (1986) and “Perhaps Some Other Time” (1988) both directed by the prominent Iranian director Bahram Beiza’i. She was also noted for her role in Beiza’i’s drama “The Death of Yazdegerd.”
