Iranian Cinema Helps Quake Victims

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- The newly established aid department of Iran’s House of Cinema announced that Iranian movie stars attended ten theaters in Tehran on Tuesday night, as well as some theaters in other cities to collect aid for the victims of the Bam quake.

Ten of Tehran’s theaters including Sepideh, Afriqa, Felestin, Qods, Sahra, Farhang, Astara, Markazi, Nur, and Piruzi hosted a total of 60 actors alongside other Iranian cineastes. People flocked to the theaters offering donations for the quake victims.

 

Mohammadreza Forutan, Mahdi Hashemi, Amin Hayaei, Golab Adineh, Hediyeh Tehrani, Ebrahim Hatamikia, Reza Iranmanesh, Parsa Piruzfar, Mohammadreza Sharifinia, Niki Karimi, Parviz Parastuei, Amin Tarokh, Atila Pesyani, Mohammadreza Golzar, Davud Rashidi, Khosrow Shakibaei, Bahram Radan, Reza Kiyanian and Akbar Abdi were among the celebrities who took part in the program.
