Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not attend the "peace summit" in Sharm el-Sheikh due to its proximity to the start of the holiday, his office announced, according to Israeli source.
Netanyahu also fears that participating in the summit during the holiday would cause a crisis with the ultra-Orthodox parties, after they made it clear behind the scenes that this trip does not justify violating the Sabbath. The right-wing parties also criticized the trip, the Israeli source added.
