Regarding Iran's diplomatic actions in support of Gaza, Bagheri Kani stated that Iran's concentrated political efforts were aimed at ending the Zionist regime's crimes and their genocide in Gaza during the past 8 months.
He said that martyr President Raeisi and the late foreign minister made efforts to help the people of Gaza and the immediate unconditional stop of Zionist crimes, adding that all the Amir-Abdollahian trips to countries in the region or outside the region, and meetings of the UN General Assembly and Security Council were in this framework.
Bagheri Kani stated that he will probably have a meeting with the region's countries this week regarding the Gaza issue.
Iran has played a serious role in the resistance of the Palestinian people against the aggression of the Zionists, he said, adding that Iran's serious effort is to restore stability and peace to the region by rejecting the occupation and crimes of the Zionists.
Bagheri said that he will probably travel to Lebanon and Syria this week as the first step, hoping to pursue a serious synergy to face the Zionists with the discussions with the authorities of these countries and also with the Resistance movement.
Regarding the holding of an emergency meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Islamic countries, he also stated that the Iranian foreign ministry has contacted some of the foreign ministers of Islamic countries with the aim of stopping Zionist regime's crimes.
