Iranian boxing fighter wins gold medal in Asian Youth C'ships

Esmaeili won his semifinal match against Rathi Lakshay from India, which helped him advance to the final.

In the final, the Iranian fighter faced Polvonov Shakhzod from Uzbekistan and emerged victorious, winning the gold medal.

Additionally, two other Iranian fighters, Amir-Reza Soltani (54kg) and Amir-Reza Malek Khatabi (86kg), each received a bronze medal in the tournament.

The Iranian junior boxing team managed to secure one gold and two bronze medals in the 2024 ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships held in Astana, Kazakhstan from April 28 to May 7, 2024.
