Iranian gymnast Olfati secures Paris 2024 Olympics berth

TEHRAN, Apr. 22 (MNA) – Iran's national gymnast Mahdi Olfati won the Olympic quota as announced by the World Federation.

According to the website of the World Gymnastics Federation, Mehdi Olfati, Iran's national gymnast, was able to qualify for the Paris Olympics by placing second in the ranking of the Olympic quota competition.

This happens for the first time in Iranian gymnastics.

Olfati managed to secure his participation in the Paris Olympics with 62 points.
