The Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a telephone converstation with Ian Borg, Malta's Minister for Foreign, Trade and European Affairs on Monday.
The military action of the Islamic Republic of Iran in response to the crimes of the Zionist regime is within the framework of legitimate defense and in accordance with international law, Amir-Abdollahian told Malta's Minister whose country holds the rotating presidency of the United Nations Security Council.
In this telephone conversation, Malta's minister, said, "Malta calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of prisoners and the facilitation of sending humanitarian aid."
