Speaking in a telephone conversation with Khalid bin Salman Al Saud the Saudi Arabian minister of defense, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri discussed the issues of mutual interests.
Expressing satisfaction with the development of friendly relations between the two countries, Bagheri expressed gratitude to the government of Saudi Arabia for hosting the extraordinary summit of heads of Islamic countries.
Bagheri also announced the readiness of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran to promote military relations between the two countries.
In this conversation, the Saudi defense minister welcomed the improvement in the level of cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
