Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote in a post on his X account that, "I would like to congratulate the nation, the government Bosnia and Herzegovina and its foreign minister Mr. Elmedin Konaković on the anniversary of the Statehood Day of the nation."
"Historical and cultural and religious commonalities between the two countries can lay the ground for the development of bilateral relations," the top Iranian diplomat further wrote.
He concluded his post by saying that "I wish prosperity and progress for this Muslim country."
Statehood Day is a holiday celebrated in Bosnia and Herzegovina that occurs every year on 25 November.
